As most of you know we're expecting baby #4 in January, a big surprise but a blessing all the same. We are nervous and excited at the same time, 4 kids seem like so many. I will have 4 kids ages 4 and under to take care of on a daily basis, I need to clone myself. This time around will be a little different since O is much older than when the girls came along (he was only 18mths) and I will have also 2 little helpers who LOVE babies. This little one is going to have to adapt to our busy lifestyle and get used to coming along wherever we need to go, I don't see many naps at home in the crib. We are not going to find out the sex although Kev really wants to I think it is one of the only true surprises in life. Since it is the 4th time around we need something to keep the birth exciting!

Sisterly Love
Here is a peaceful moment in our house. The girls actually do really well together for the most part but are not prone to fits of biting/hair pulling and now that they can talk they tell on each other too. One will come running into my room yelling "sissy hit me, sissy bit me, sissy pushed me" I don't know if most of it is true or not. I try to let them resolve most of it on their own unless I know so damage is being done. The really do love each other and look for the other the minute they get up in the morning, I don't think they've ever really been apart.

Guadalupe River State Park
We love visiting new outdoor places wherever we live, especially those that include water (it's HOT here in Texas). I'm all about making the most of our local area wherever we move to, get out there and explore (even if it's a little tricky with 3 little ones to tote along). This one was definitely a big hit, although a bit crowded because of the 4th of July holiday. It was a great place for the kids because the river was shallow, Kev or I could walk across to the other side, and there were plenty of rocks to play with. The water was refreshingly cool for this area and pretty clean since it was flowing at a pretty good speed. We could have stayed for hours but it was getting late and the kids were getting hungry but we'll go back again for sure!

Happy 4th
OK so we have little kids and we do our fireworks in broad daylight, what's wrong with that? The sparklers were a big hit with the girls but once the real stuff came out F was not too happy. K wanted them to be bigger and louder and O was kind of in the middle. I had to bring F inside so I didn't get to see much but K and O seemed to be impressed with Daddy's fireworks show. Maybe next year we will make it to a real in-the-dark-display...

No dresses here
I am not very girly and apparently my daughters are following in my footsteps. I NEVER put them in dresses except when we are leaving the pool, they are not really compatible with their lifestyle. They have no dress up clothes and don't even really know what dress up is. They do have a few babies, missing most of their clothes and filthy from playing in the dirt. They love to use their blankets as super hero capes and would rather get dirty than play in the house. K will hunt and pick up any bug in her path, no matter how big and how creepy, things even O would not touch. They do have their fingers and toes painted most of the time, that is as girly as we get around here.
Now she's gonna take it for a ride on her tractor
make sure you wear your helmet while pushing the mower
I'm sure the day will come when they discover princesses and fairies and all that stuff but for now I'll keep it all a secret.
