Noodles anyone?

My kids will pretty much try anything, they may not like it but they will usually give it a shot.  Kev makes fun of me for liking these fresh noodle bowls, he says they're gross.  Little does he know what he's missing out on... All the more for the girls and I.

Bubbles

My kids love bubbles, what kid doesn't?  For me that means blowing lots of them so they can chase after and try to catch them.  I know they have some kind of "bubble machine" but that just seems so not fun to me.  I pinned this idea from pinterest so we have a full time bubble dispenser on the counter, we go through a lot of the mix.  I am not that thrilled with that particular bubble recipe so when our container runs out I'm gonna be on the hunt for a new one.  If you're not into pinterest yet you've gotta check it out, I get so many ideas from it but watch out you may just get addicted!

Wildlife Ranch

We took the kids here last weekend, we've lived here for 2yrs and still haven't seen so many local things.  It was the first weekend of spring break but it wasn't nearly as busy as I thought it would be.  They had a great time and loved being able to be so close to the animals, many of them came right into the car window.  Here are a few of the animals we got to see:

Mustache

We're halfway through mustache march and the end can't come soon enough.  Owen and Miles surprised Kev with their own staches over the weekend, I nearly died laughing!

Some of our favorite things

I have a few go-to things that I really like for the kids, things that hold their attention and we have managed to use over and over again.  These craft kids have made that list.  We got a few as christmas gifts and since then I've gotten a few more at Home Goods and Tuesday Morning, both a lot cheaper than the normal retail price.  Since I am not inherently crafty these kits are perfect, they contain everything you need to do the craft.

The button art one is a favorite of Finley, it is simple enough for her to do without help and she can do it over and over again.

When I find them I like to stock up, we always have parties to attend and these have become my gift of choice.

Fanciest houses on the block

Owen and Miles have been working on building a birdhouse for a while now, they built it from scratch with the help of Miss Kelly.  They have since painted and decorated it and they've gotta be the fanciest birdhouses around.  Here are a few photos of the works in progress, I'll post the finished product as soon as we get it hung on the tree (its super heavy so we're still working on the logistics). Wait until you see all the bling they've added to the outside!

One of the only "safe" spots from Norah in the house is my bed, its high enough that she can't get up - yet.  I often tell the girls if they want to do something without being bothered to go up on my bed.  They gathered every single pillow in the house, got comfy and played their leap pad while I was cleaning up.  What you can't see is Norah yelling at them from the side of the bed, not so peaceful but we've all learned to kind of tune it out.
