O's spring performance 2012

Here are a few shots from O's end of year performance, he does such a great job and always knows all the words and movements.  Kev went into work late that day so he could make it which was a treat for both O and I (I had help with Norah).

Gymnastics

All three big kids have started a gymnastics class, we go once a week for an hour and they LOVE it.  They ask every single day if today is gymnastics day, it makes for a long week between classes.  The girls are the youngest ones there, I lied a little and said they were four so they could be in a class at the same time as O.  They do really well, Keira does better than most of the girls in the class and Finley is making a lot of progress.  O is in an all boys class and his coach is strict, they start of with 20 push ups and sit ups plus running and all sorts of stretching.  If they don't listen during class they have to do additional push ups and he doesn't mess around.  I wasn't really sure if O was going to like it but I think he is the most excited about going each week.  I got the deal off groupon and had no idea how serious the other parents were, gymnastics moms are hard core.  The first class we showed up totally unprepared, no leotard, what kind of mom are you??  Luckily my mom had given the girls dress up tu-tu outfits a long time ago and I found them hidden away in my closet, sure enough we had our leotard.  Ok so they're like a size 2T and the girls are almost four years old but they're petite - ha!

Spring cleaning

Although the yards here in texas are small they sure do require a lot of work.  Two weeks ago Kev got 8yrds of topsoil to spread, last weekend he got another 8yrds of mulch for all of our beds.  He is the one that does the majority of the work but he sure does have a lot of helpers, he may beg to differ on the term helper.

O already needs a break

We didn't order quite enough for all the beds so we have to get some more this weekend, hopefully after that we'll Kev will be mostly done with the spring yard cleaning.

Mom when do we go to the dentist?

My kids are weird, the love going to the dentist.  It helps that we have the nicest dentist possible plus they get all kinds of goodies once they're done with their cleaning.  Since the first visit nobody as ever complained or not been compliant, the hygienists always compliment their behavior.

We found out O has 2 loose teeth, he didn't even know they were loose.  He can't wait for the tooth fairy to come.

We had a birthday party on sunday for a friend from our neighborhood, all four kids were invited which was nice.  I think Norah may have enjoyed the rides the most, she's gonna be trouble.

One of the Kev's friends came over on Easter sunday, single-no kids kinda friends.  This is his single-no kids-perfectly clean Harley.  I'm sure he was cringing with the kids all over it but hey that's what happens when you come to our hood.  I told the boys to look tough, we're gonna work on that look...

Easter 2012

Ok, I'm really far behind with this blog.  Life has gotten in the way and I got some horrible stomach flu two days before Easter.  I was in bed for almost two days straight and Kev and the kids had to fend for themselves, I felt so horrible.  Could it have been a worse time for me to get sick?  Here are a few photos that I managed to take, not many and not great but I was severely under the weather.
