In Love

The kids are so in love with their new baby sister, I thought it would change within a few days of being home but it hasn't.  She is the most amazing baby, so easy going and sweet how could one not be in love with her.  The girls ask to hold her every chance they can, since she really just eats/sleeps they don't have that much time with her.  Fin says "Mommy I don't want you to change her diaper because she cries and doesn't like it".  That is literally the only time she does cry and it bothers the kids to see her cry, I had to explain it's just because she's cold and we have to change her to keep her from getting a rash, they still don't like the idea.

Welcome our baby Norah

We I had our 4th baby on wed afternoon at 2:04pm, a very quick uneventful birth almost missed by daddy.  Our babysitter had to be somewhere at 2:30 so Kev had to leave the hospital by 2:15 to relieve her, call that a close call.  While we were trying to figure out what to do if Kev had to leave and I was close to giving birth my very funny nurse came up with a plan "just bring the 3 other kids up here and we'll put them in the bathroom while baby is being born".  Little does she know there would have been a riot in the bathroom and it would have been far harder than daddy missing the birth in the first place.  All in all it worked out just fine and Kev was able to see his 3rd little girl be born and then run off to pick up the rest of the clan.

She weighed 6.6oz and was 20.5in, I was not very big so we had a feeling she was going to be a peanut.  She is an amazing baby, very content, a champion nurser, and tolerates her sisters driving her crazy very well.

Witte Museum

We checked out a local museum during Christmas break and while Daddy was home with us, it's getting tough for me to bring all 3 kids places these days.  We had a similar museum back in VA so we figured we'd check this one out too.  All in all it was decent but I probably wouldn't go back for a while or until they changed exhibits at least.  They did have a really neat bug exhibit with life size bugs that the kids were both intrigued/scared of, they moved and made noises at random which was kinda creepy.

We had a great time over Christmas break especially since Daddy got to spend so much time at home with us.  We are trying to do as much fun stuff as possible before the new baby comes and we will be even more busy here (hard to imagine).

Our Cowboy

We joke with O that he's a cowboy since he was born here in TX and I think he just may be.  This is his favorite song and he knew the words within a few times of listening to it, he cracks me up!
